TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR GOATS

DEPOSITS:

Kids - A non-refundable deposit, half the sales price amount of the kid, will hold the kid of your choice until weaning at 10 weeks of age, when it must be picked up by the buyer. We can continue to raise your kid until 12 weeks of age for an additional boarding fee of $5 per day (due at pickup with balance owed on kid). If not picked up at 12 weeks of age the sale will be canceled and the kid will then be relisted for sale, deposit will not be refunded.

Weaned Kids (10+weeks) and Older - A non-refundable deposit, half the sales price amount of the goat, with hold all animals age 10 weeks and older for up to 2 weeks (14 days), at which time the animal must be picked up or the buyer will be charged a daily boarding fee of $5 per day (due at pickup with balance owed on goat).  If goat has not been picked up after 30 days, the sale will be canceled and the goat will then be relisted for sale, deposit will not be refunded.

The prices on the breeding schedule are for pre-ordered kids and may be subject to change on those that are not pre-ordered. In the event that your kid is not born or dies, the deposit can be transferred, held over to the following year, or refunded. Deposits will not be returned simply because you have changed your mind. We accept PayPal and/Cash or checks; however the buyer is responsible for all bank fees due to non sufficient funds. Animals will not leave our property until we have verified funds have cleared.

HEALTH PAPERS: If required, are the buyer’s responsibility and the buyer will be responsible for any fees incurred. Please allow us at least two weeks to obtain needed health tests and paperwork from our veterinarian.

SHIPPING: We can generally meet buyers within an hour from our home for the cost of fuel (minimum $50). Due to work schedules, however, these trips will have to be scheduled 2 weeks prior to transport date. We are just over an hour from the Missoula International Airport and can work with you on shipping from there in the spring/early summer months. Crates, airfare and the cost of round trip fuel to the airport will be the buyer’s responsibility. If you chose to work with a ground transport shipper, we are about 12 minutes from US HWY 93 and could work out arrangements to meet with the shipper near the hwy, or they can pick-up directly from our farm.

HEALTH GUARANTEE: We guarantee the health of your kid/goat as it leaves our property. It will leave current on vaccinations (we only give CD-T), worming, disbudding and will be castrated (if you so choose). Once it leaves our property, however, we are no longer responsible for its health and refunds will only be issued with signed statement from a veterinarian, for up to 48 hours, stating that death or illness is in fact the result of a genetic condition and not the result of herd health management. Due to health and bio-security concerns, once an animal has left the property and is then returned to us, it becomes an expense as the animal will have to be quarantined, fed hay and have blood drawn for bio-security screening through WADDL.

BUY BACK: If you ever decide to sell your Creekside FS Miniature Alpine in the future; Creekside Farmstead reserves the first right and the option to buy the animal back at a fair market value.
